Privacy policy

Who we are

Mapa Sossego estimates the noise level of addresses in Brazil from OpenStreetMap open data. Questions about this policy can be sent to the contact email on the Contact page.

Data we process

The addresses and map points you look up are sent to our server to compute the estimate and locate the address. For that we rely on third party services based on OpenStreetMap (Nominatim and the Overpass API) and on ViaCEP for postal codes. We do not build user profiles and we do not sell data. We only cache map data and geocoding results, with no link to who searched.

Like any website, our servers log technical information such as IP address, browser and pages visited, used only for security and aggregate statistics.

Cookies and ads

We show Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com or www.aboutads.info. Google's vendor list is at www.google.com/policies/technologies/partner-sites.

We also use Google Analytics, with IP anonymization, to understand how the site is used.

Your rights (LGPD)

Under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law you may request information about the processing of your data, ask for correction or deletion, and withdraw consent. Just write to the contact email.
